Membership Communications:

  • CoPPeR creates a weekly "Peak Radar Lodging Picks" email uniquely created with our members in mind. Providing a resource for front-line and guest-contact staff about the Colorado Springs Cultural Arts Community. Includes links to upcoming entertainment at The Broadmoor World Arena and The Pikes Peak Center.

  • Real time alerts and updates regarding crime or suspicious activity - BOLO

  • Notification of community meetings and forums of interest to the hospitality industry

  • Promotion of member-to-member events

  • Job Postings

 
Community Involvement:

  • Ongoing volunteer service opportunities allow members to support and develop local partnerships

  • PPLA "Hospitality Scholarship" offered through Pikes Peak State College Foundation

  • Annual online auction fundraising for the scholarship and local non-profit organizations supported by PPLA

Educational Opportunities Impacting the Hospitality Industry:

  • Business development training or department leadership gatherings

  • Past issues have included security, My COS Tourism Training, LART funding, C4C projects, H2B's, and recruitment of seasonal employees

Membership Dues

  • Billed annually in early June

  • Dues assessed at $3.00 per guest room (minimum $100.00) or $350.00 for Associate Members.
